FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How is this service different from private tutoring?
We do not provide subject-specific tutoring. Sparkwise acts as an academic concierge — helping students understand academic systems, plan their time, coordinate resources, and keep parents informed.
Does the service include writing essays for me?
Absolutely not. Ghostwriting any academic work violates the UK Academic Integrity Framework, a boundary Sparkwise strictly upholds. We can help you understand requirements and plan a writing structure, but all content must be produced by the student.
Can parents communicate directly with the advisor?
Yes. Track 2 and Track 3 both include dedicated parent reporting (bi-weekly or monthly), and parents may also communicate directly with the advisor via agreed channels (WhatsApp/Email).
What can you do if a student is at risk of failing a module?
Track 3 includes early risk intervention: we help analyse root causes, identify available resources (e.g. resit policies, university support services), co-develop a response strategy, and notify parents.
Is in-person support available?
All services are conducted online by default (video, voice, or text). In-person support requires additional discussion and assessment, and may involve supplementary fees.
What languages do you offer?
We offer services in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. Parent reports are available in both English and Chinese to ensure seamless communication.
